Hilles House was a wonderful place to get married! Detmar and team were very helpful and accommodating. They were happy to be flexible to make sure we had the wedding we wanted. Stunning location and the house itself was, of course, a fabulous setting for the whole day. The guests were also enchanted by Hilles House and our photos by How Photography captured it all perfectly. Couldn’t have hoped for a better wedding venue!

The hall was the perfect size for 100 guests and yet still felt intimate and personal for the ceremony. With views unfolding over five counties and endless outside space and secret corners to get creative with, Detmar and the team at Hilles were welcoming and on hand to help us sculpt our wedding into something truly extraordinary.

Hilles is such an exceptional venue – we had our wedding there at the end of July and are still hearing incredible feedback from our guests, who couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. Detmar and Emma were such a pleasure to deal with both in the run-up to the wedding and afterwards. I can’t recommend it highly enough – we were able to make the day completely personal to us and couldn’t have found a more ideal venue. Thank you!

We saw lots of venues and so many felt like a ‘factory wedding’. Hilles gave us the flexibility to be creative and design the day we wanted. Emma was brilliant and we actually really enjoyed the day before decorating with all of our bridal party. We spent the evening before the wedding in the local village pub The Royal Oak which is lovely. I would really recommend our suppliers as well, our incredible photographer Amy-Rose Photography, Cotswold Cooks and the Enchanted Florist. I wish we could do it again!

We had our wedding at Hilles House on Saturday 11th May and it was more than we ever could have hoped for. I remember my Dad driving me down the long driveway in an old landrover through all of the wild garlic and seeing our guests making their way to the outdoor ceremony overlooking five counties. We had drinks on the terrace in the sunshine, a delicious meal by Cotswold Cooks in the Palace Yurt and watched the incredible sunset before an amazing party.

We married in an outside ceremony on the 28th of May on the lawns of Hilles House, looking out from the Edge over Gloucestershire and beyond. The backdrop during the ceremony was stunning and the lawn was perfect for our drinks reception/marquee. Our guests were all so impressed with both the incredible views and the charm of the house. Our wedding day was truly unique and we couldn’t be happier that we chose Hilles House!

We were lucky enough to celebrate our wedding at Hilles last summer. What a beautiful, magical and inspiring house. It was the perfect combination of grandeur and eccentricity, energy and colour. Every room both has and IS is its own piece of art.
